Senior Advisor
Dr. Salah Machouche

Dr. Salah Machouche holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Bouzareah University, Algeria, a Master’s degree in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage, and a Ph.D. in Usul al-Din and Comparative Religion from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
Throughout his 16 years academic career , Dr. Machouche has taught a diverse range of undergraduate courses that reflect his interdisciplinary expertise. His teaching experience includes Islamic World, Islamic Civilization and Knowledge, Introduction to Philosophy, Creative Thinking and Problem Solving, Marriage and Family Management at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), as well as the First Year Seminar (UNIV 100) at Qatar University, where he currently serves as a faculty member. His teaching philosophy emphasizes intellectual inquiry, critical and creative thinking, ethical development, and the meaningful integration of Islamic values into higher education.

Dr. Machouche’s research focuses on Islamic creed and its practical implications for contemporary life, professional ethics, spirituality in healthcare settings, human thinking in the Qur’an, early Islamic education, and the intellectual legacy of Ibn Khaldun. His scholarly work seeks to bridge the rich heritage of Islamic thought with contemporary academic and professional challenges, contributing to the development of value-based approaches to education and human development.
In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Machouche is actively engaged in the development of educational resources that promote Islamic spirituality and holistic learning. His academic contributions reflect a commitment to fostering critical reflection, ethical leadership, and the integration of revealed knowledge with contemporary disciplines.
His research and publications encompass a broad range of topics, including spiritual intelligence, critical thinking, learning styles, professional ethics, and the integration of Islamic values with contemporary knowledge. Through his scholarship, teaching, and educational initiatives, Dr. Machouche continues to contribute to advancing Islamic thought and promoting educational excellence within diverse academic settings.
Senior LECTURER
Dr. Abdelhafid Djouahi

Dr. Abdelhafid Djouahi is an accomplished Islamic scholar, educator, and researcher specializing in the fields of Hadith and Sunnah sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies with a focus on Hadith from the prestigious University of Malaya in Malaysia (2024), adding to his foundational academic training from El Oued University in Algeria, where he earned both his Master’s (2016) and Bachelor’s (2014) degrees.
Bridging the gap between rigorous modern academia and sacred Islamic lineage, he holds a traditional license (Ijazah) to narrate 38 foundational books of the Sunnah, authorized by Sheikh Abu Al-Layth Muhammad Ibn Shamsuddin Al-Khairabadi with an unbroken chain of transmission (Sanad) tracing back to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Dr. Abdelhafid Djouahi has extensive international teaching experience across the Muslim world and Southeast Asia. He has served as a lecturer of Hadith and Takhreej (hadith verification) for undergraduate students at the College of Shari’a Sciences in the Sultanate of Oman, and has taught Quran and Islamic Studies at the Elite Arabic School in Malaysia, alongside several years of foundational teaching in Algeria.
As a dedicated researcher and author, his peer-reviewed work is published in leading academic journals, including Quranica and Brill’s Journal of Quranic and Hadith Studies, focusing heavily on the intersection of prophetic wisdom, Algerian law, and contemporary social issues – particularly the care and rights of individuals with special needs. He is also a published author of two books: “Kingdom of the Soul” and “Poet’s Fragments”, and served as the supervising editor for the publication “Exceptional Passerby Memoirs”. A multilingual scholar, he communicates in Arabic, English, French, and Japanese.
